Senior AI DesignerJOB DESCRIPTIONNacon Studio Milan is seeking a Senior AI Designer for our upcoming titles. The AI Designer will be required to work closely with game designers and AI programmers to design and implement AI systems that enhance gameplay and create engaging experiences.

Understand the intentions of the creative direction on the game modes and behavior of AIs;Design and develop the AI systems;Design & develop strong AI archetypes that have unique behaviors, characteristics and roles;Fine-tune AI parameters, behaviors and archetypes to achieve the desired level between the player & AI;Actively participate in playtesting sessions to evaluate the AI gameplay & performance;Formalize and document the systems to communicate them to the programming and design teams;Update the design documents to maintain comprehensive documentation of AI systems, behaviors, archetypes and & technical specifications;Describe the basic game situations to collaborate with the AI, Gameplay and Level Design team in establishing levels of difficulty.QUALIFICATIONSProven experience as an AI Designer or similar role within the gaming industry;Experience developing AI for a highly systemic environment;Experience creating behavior trees and using visual scripting;Staying updated on industry trends, and keeping an eye on the latest advancements and trends within AI & game development;Talent for empathizing with players and a deep understanding of player motivations;Team player with good communication skills (verbal and written);Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5.NICE TO HAVEFamiliarity with scripting languages and a strong foundation in maths;Good understanding of systems design, player psychology, and emerging industry trends.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONSA modern and relaxed studio atmosphere;A chance to work in a booming industry within an international team;Coffee, snacks and drinks at the office dispensers, and daily meal vouchers;Yearly Vouchers for goods or services, including discounts on the purchase of video games;1-to-1 dedicated courses to improve personal skills (e.g. English language, soft skills or specific technical courses according to the needs of the team);Company Events (dinners, cultural and team building trips);Regular check-ups 1-to-1 with your manager and HR to assess performance, progress, difficulties, and periodic climate analyses;Career development: structured salary review process and individual growth path;Smart working policy to promote work-life balance;Free Shares Incentive Plan and production bonus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
