We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to take on the role of Rate Loading & Distribution Specialist.
The primary responsibilities of this position include managing the rate loading process across our Synxis and HMS systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency of room rates, availability, and add-on packages.
Additionally, this role will oversee the quality assurance of reservations, ensuring that guest data and booking details meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities: Rate Loading & Distribution: Manage the rate loading process across the Synxis and HMS systems, ensuring room rates, availability, and special offers are accurately loaded and consistently updated.Ensure the consistency and accuracy of rate distribution across all online travel agents (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and direct booking channels.Coordinate the addition of add-on packages (e.g., breakfast, parking, spa treatments) to ensure they are correctly displayed and available for booking.Systems Coordination & Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any discrepancies in rate loading or availability.Reservations Quality Control: Regularly review the quality of reservations in the system, verifying guest details, booking dates, room types, and special requests.Auditing reservations:Conduct regular audits to identify errors, omissions, and inconsistencies in guest information, dates, rates, deposits, and payment details.Identifying and resolving discrepancies:Work closely with the CCO team, the newly established position of Reservations Quality Assurance, and other departments to correct errors and prevent future issues.Reporting on quality metrics:Track and analyze key performance indicators related to reservation accuracy and completeness.
Identify trends and areas for improvement and report findings to DDOR.Collaborate with operations and the customer service team to address and resolve any booking discrepancies or errors.Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to ensure that rates align with the overall pricing strategy.Provide detailed reports on rate loading, availability, and system performance to senior management.Minimum Requirements: Proven experience with Synxis, HMS, or similar hotel distribution systems.Strong expertise in rate loading, inventory management, and distribution channels.Demonstrated experience in quality control for reservation systems, ensuring accurate guest data and booking details.Exceptional attention to detail and capability to troubleshoot system discrepancies.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Analytical skills for producing reports and tracking system performance.
