RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager - Energy Research & Innovation to join its office in Genoa, Italywithin the Green Energy Solutions Division.
MissionThis role focuses on the project management of international R&D projects, focused on renewables energy, smart energy systems and smart power grid management, building energy management systems and all related to the electrical grid.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe new resource will be part of the team Energy Innovation Strategic Centre, which is mainly exposed to R&D projects and innovation activities. They will:
Manage or support the management of EU R&D projects, in the field of renewable energy and its integration at both building, industrial and grid sectors, power grid development, system flexibility and decarbonization & energy transitionContribute to RINA's activities of technical development, in the framework of EU R&D funded projects also interacting with international partnersContribute to or delivery reports and results European research and innovation projects involving renewable energy technologies, power grid management and the smart grid energy efficiencyContribute to the creation of new opportunities and the preparation of new proposals in the framework of European and international R&D programmesContribute to the growth of RINA's network of R&D partners in the field of power generation and distributionSkills and EducationMaster degree in Electrical, Energy or Mechanical engineering with focus on electrical grid, renewable energy technologies, smart grids, energy efficiencyVery good level of English (both written and spoken)Excellent reporting skills, both verbal and writtenCapacity to conduct research, organize work and produce resultsOpen-minded to innovation and creativity and a good attitude to networking #LI-MT3
Education Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering
