Then you are the right person to join us as a Epu Manager in SaviglianoWithin the Production organization, the Epu (Elementary Production Unit)Manager will be based in Savigliano and will be in charge of the following responsibilities during theproject execution:For the activity within the EPU contributes partially toSupply chain set upQuality plan validationIndustrialization activitiesFor manufacturing preparation of the activity within the EPUResponsible for requests for training & qualification of operators, requests for hiring (internal, external, temporary)Responsible for the industrial process Hand-over from PME to manufacturingResponsible APSYS (Lean Manufacturing) deployment preparationResponsible for the operators training (covering manufacturing & self-inspections)The finalization of manufacturing preparation for activity within the EPUThe complete scope of manufacturing activities within the EPU, which also includes:Task assignment to operatorsIntermediate Handover (EPU level) including intermediate applied configuration (= as manufactured), self-inspections, dynamic checklist, NCR, rework, missing parts, waivers/deviations, incomplete operations,On time, closing of work orders in Manufactuing toolsProductive & Nonproductive hours booked in Manufactuing tools of all operatorsAPSYS Lean Manufacturing deploymentSQCD performance for the activity in the EPU, and tracking the associated KPIContinuous improvement of SQCD performance of the activity in the EPUIssues Management for the activity of the EPUIssues are raised in Manufacturing toll on timeContribution to corrective action of the issue (e.g. QRQC)Execution of changes to the product, (if applicable)Contribution to 1st Train(s) /products Manufacturing Feedback to support functions in order to improve SQCD performanceThe main responsibilities as hierarchical manager of the operators belonging to an EPU (Elementary Production Unit) are:Responsible for time management (presence management and activity management) of all employees, and assuring compliance with the local legislationAccountable for the time reconciliationResponsible for continuously improving occupational safety, including that of contractors (if applicable) working for the EPU,Contribution to the development of the operators, which means further development of the qualification matrix for product-related and technology-related processes, as well as general technological and personal qualificationContribution to the application of the corporate policies (EHS, IRIS, Ethics and Compliance, …)Competencies & SkillsFunctional skillsProfound knowledge ofSpecial ProcessesWorking knowledge of:Industrial ManagementProcesses for industrials E2E, from Engineering to DeliveryManufacturing Processes and TechnologiesConfiguration & Change ManagementBasic awareness of:Automation / RobotizationGreenfield/Brownfield DevelopmentSite Facilities & MaintenanceTransfer of TechnologyErgonomicsTransversal skillsProfound knowledge of:Team Management including management of cross functional teamsEnvironment, Health & Safety (EHS) rules and regulations,Lean Management tools, methodsWorking knowledge of:Supply Chain/Quality processes and impact from manufacturing on themProducts KnowledgeApplicable Social Relations & Labor LawBasic awareness of:Finance/Sourcing processes and impact from manufacturing on themDigital & Analytics Tools for managing the manufacturing activities (KPI, …).Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow's mobility.
