Leap29 Opportunity:Leap29 has partnered with a top European IPP exploring Solar PV, agrivoltaics, green hydrogen, and BESS initiatives across Europe, the Americas, and Africa. Our client is recruiting a Project Development Manager to support the Senior Project Manager in overseeing all areas of project development for utility-scale Solar opportunities in Italy. This role involves managing and optimizing the development of multiple projects (greenfield and/or already partially developed) to reach a fully developed project status aiming to achieve the Ready to Build status within the agreed timeline and budget.Responsibilities:Under supervision of a Senior Project Manager, manages the project to secure good quality within budget and time plan.Controls and reports risks throughout the project to act proactively and ensure the project is constructible and attractive to the market.Manages external consultants and lawyers.Secures relevant permits for the project (Environmental Permit, Building Permit, etc.) until achieving Ready to Build status.Secures Grid Conditions and a Grid Connection Agreement with the connecting utility.Secures land access together with the Land Manager in the project team.Stakeholder Management – establish a good relationship with concerned stakeholders such as Municipality, County Administrative Board, Authorities, local associations, residents, and landowners.Takes part in Due Diligence for development-related matters during an acquiring process.Keeps up to date with relevant legislation.Stay updated on the market in general and especially any surrounding projects relevant to yours.Requirements:At least 1 year of experience working as a Project Manager in the renewable energy sector.Minimum of a bachelor's degree, most likely in engineering, environmental science/law, or any other related area.Team player with a delivery-oriented mindset that can handle parallel workstreams while managing budget and time plan.An adaptable mindset, good problem-solving ability, and ability to build relationships due to ever-changing conditions and the need to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.Fluent in Italian and English.Good skills with the MS Office package in general.Additional notes: Generous, negotiable salary package. 10 EUR worth of meal tickets each working day.
