We are headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and our factory in Poland brings these innovations to life, with operating markets in the UK, Italy, and Germany.About the Role as Technical Surveyor at AiraTechnical Surveyors at Aira are responsible for visiting customer properties following a completed sale to collect all data required to determine the system requirements for a heat pump installation.
This data will be shared with our design team and installers so they can carry out the best, most efficient heating installation possible.If you have a background in plumbing, heating, renewables, or building surveys, then this role may be perfect for you
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, and whilst you should expect some travel within your region, our planning team will always endeavor to keep your work as local as possible.At Aira, we take progression and professional development seriously.
You will join Aira in the Aira Academy and receive training on all the systems you'll be using in your daily working life.
You will also have access to world-class training provided by Heat Geek.
Being a Technical Surveyor has great development potential into design roles and installation roles, as well as leadership and management positions.Key Responsibilities for the Role of Technical Surveyor at AiraAs a Technical Surveyor, you'll visit customer properties to accurately collect data, including but not limited to:Room sizesExternal property dimensionsBuilding materialWindow dimensions and materialExisting heating systemExisting electrical systemLocation for the Heat PumpHot water requirements for the property and cylinder locationPipe and cable routesSpecial or specific customer requirementsHeating emitters and manifold locationExperience RequiredExperience in one of the following is essential for the role of Technical Surveyor:Plumbing or heating installation (min NVQ Level 2)Domestic electrical installation (min Level 3)Survey/specification experience for boilers/heating systemsWhat is in it for you?Salary of £35,000 per year25 days annual leave + bank holidaysEmployee Gateway (shopping + holiday discount)Health cash planCompany VehicleAll tools and equipment providedInfluence the company's success, with a visible impact on product development and market growth.At Aira, we're not just champions of next-generation energy; we're champions of Diversity and Inclusion too.
