Above all, Ferrari is an international team working with the highest level of professionalism and dedication, based on performance, meritocracy, and continuous development, with innovation at the heart of our future.In order to strengthen our engineering team, we are looking to hire an Electric / Electronic Method Tools Engineer, based in Maranello (Italy).In this position, you will be involved with the development of the system software tools, methods, and processes for automotive V-Cycle inside the Electrical Electronic Systems Department.
You will be responsible for developing ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) solutions using mainly Jira, Polarion, PREEvision, and CANalyzer/CAndela.
The ALM solution shall support requirement management traceability and impact analysis.
You will work in tandem with Ferrari ICT EES teams to configure and deploy ALM tools and solutions to a Ferrari RD user community.
As part of the team, you will be responsible for:Development of methodologies and processes using Electric Electronics tools (Polarion, Jira, PREEvision, Confluence, Dspace tools, DaVinci, CI/CD, Confluence, etc).Electrics Electronics focal point.Documenting new processes in Method Stages.Managing the development and implementation of the Ferrari Collaboration Portal, handshake between Ferrari tools and Supplier Tools using interface applications.Coaching engineering teams on the Ferrari Tools platform.Analyzing Ferrari needs and defining the Polarion configurations to implement them in compliance with ISO 26262 and A-SPICE process requirements.Serving as a liaison between ICT, Engineering, Product Development stakeholders, and end-users.Managing all activities related to the ALM environment including planning, deployment, user acceptance testing, and final production deployments.In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering or equivalent.You will have gained at least 3 years of dedicated experience in ECUs embedded system development and agile methodologies and processes.
Proven ability to apply the V-Cycle development process and well-founded knowledge of EE system engineering and its development and testing tools (PREEVision, CANalyzer, Network Architecture).
Several years of experience in Automotive Development according to ISO 26262 and A-SPICE.
Computer programming skills are mandatory to manage the activities.
Python programming language is considered a plus.At Ferrari, you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly dynamic and fast-changing environment, think analytically, and possess attention to detail and critical thinking ability.
It is important to be proactive in proposing new solutions to optimize all processes and activities.Fluent English is required for the position, and Italian language skills are an advantage.
