Purpose: Provides high level system design.
Coordinates the activities to develop integrated solution and projects dedicated.
Ensures that the projects meet the technical specification and the timeline.
Supports the other teams involved on the project development assuring all the necessary technical information.
Work Location: EMEA Accountabilities: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Duties and responsibilities include leading a team and managing resources Responsible for the verification of Electrical/Automation schematics and system layouts Analysis of technical specification and definition of project scope in support of the Sales.
Evaluates technical requests from customers and estimates hours for the development of new projects and changes requests that need extra cost.
Creation of BOMs, single line schematic and documents requested for the Project delivery.
Provides to the Software developers the necessary information and logic to be implemented on project.
Supervision of the project status and installation, verification of the timeline and ensures the meeting of the technical specification.
Coordinates the activities of the electrical writer for the design of schematics.
Collaborates and communicates with the team leads and other team members during the project and product development cycle.
Communicates with suppliers and contractors for the development and the improvements of our solutions.
Communicates technically with the Customer to understand better the needs and the scope of the projects to drive the customer on the best solution from a technical point of view that minimizes the effort of the resources and the costs.
Skills Knowledge: Knowledge of the rules and standards about automation, electrical systems, and products for the marine industry.
Knowledge of creation and interpretation of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Knowledge of CAD tools for schematics design (Spac Automation, EPLAN) Knowledge of the marine industry (Pleasure yacht) Navigation and on-board control systems Competencies: Drives execution Analysis of engineering problems Design of solutions Continuous improvements Project scheduling Accuracy Collaboration Able to deal with work pressure Customer oriented Problem solving Creativity Education: Electrical / Electronic / Industrial Engineering Work Experience: 5 years on automation systems for boats Languages: English (advanced) Other Competencies: Behaviourals: Our teams all over the world are innovative, driven, exceptional, authentic and united in nearly 40 different regions globally.
