Job Description She/He, coordinating a team of 2 resources and in cooperation with the global Procurement Team, will be responsible for developing purchasing strategies in conformity with business unit requests and oversee the purchasing team in their daily activities of sourcing suppliers and purchasing products, equipment, and services.
Will be responsible for tracking KPIs of the department.Scope of Responsibilities / ExpectationsDirect and Indirect procurement processes in conformity with corporate procedures, terms & conditions and specifications starting from suppliers definition to goods receiptVendor Management activities:Suppliers scouting and evaluation, defining the best possible solutions for the company in terms of Quality, Pricing and Lead TimeSuppliers development and improvementPrices monitoring and reductionRisk evaluation in terms of stability and volumes with definition of corrective actions in alignment with business objectivesVendor relationship activities:Business negotiations Long term agreements Orders dispatch, monitoring and expeditingInvoices receipt and registration for passive cycleDeclaration collections (Eg.
Reach+Rohs, COO, others)Vendor rating:Evaluation of suppliers in terms of Quality, Pricing, on-time delivery and definition of corrective actionsShe/He, will cooperate with:the Planning and the Production teams in order to define demand in terms of volume for mass production R&D team for New Products Introduction and product portfolio maintenanceQuality team for suppliers rating and evaluation in addition to area proceduresInternational Procurement team for strategic sourcing and synergiesDesired Background/Knowledge/SkillsA proactive person enthusiast for this profession with 5 to 10 years of experience as Purchasing Manager or Senior Buyer.
Previous experience in purchasing of the following "class" or at least part of them:Mechanical partsCarpentry partsDie CastingElectronics from PCB to components levelStrong capabilities in team working, accountable to other people inside the organizationA person driven by results who wants to move further her/his objectives and opportunitiesOriented to innovation and that wants to strength her/his skills to do things differently and betterEducationTechnical diploma/ Bachelor's degree with an engineering/economic focus Basic RequirementsEnglish knowledge (B2 level minimum - oral and written is a must) and native/fluent Italian.Microsoft office/Google suite knowledgeTravel RequirementsNoneRelocation ProvidedNonePosition TypeExperiencedReferral Payment PlanNoCompanyVideotec S.p.AEEO StatementMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
