Finance Business Partner

The Role Imperial Brands is an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees who are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join the team in Rome.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for driving performance through providing insights, decision support and ad-hoc reporting. Supporting and challenging the business to continually ensure that strategies align with financial goals.
As a truly Connected Leader the successful Finance Business Partner, will display all elements of Imperial behaviours to a very high standard.
Principal Accountabilities Responsible for the planning and budgeting cycle for the Market, providing valuable insights and relevant analysis.Responsible for monitoring the actual performance against budget/latest forecast.Variance analysis of Actuals vs Budget/Forecast which should feed a comprehensive Executive Summary as part of the reporting to the Stakeholders.Facilitate assessment of financial impact of emerging business opportunities and risks.Work closely with all Budget Owners and define commonly mitigating actions in case of material deviations, follow-up the effectiveness of the initiated actions.Liaise with the Accounting Manager to align financial Forecast, Cash Flow and phasing of investment.Skills and Experience Required Previous relevant experience in a similar position preferably in a Multinational Company.Fluency in English, both verbal and written.Attention to detail and analytical thinking with strong numerical acumen.Ability to present data and findings in a clear and concise way.Ability to facilitate conversations and drive towards decisions.
