About the Role
The Finance Special Project Manager will be responsible for driving transformation projects and strategic decision making through detailed analysis, project team coordination and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, particularly in financial planning and analysis, and a thorough understanding of international accounting principles. You will use your expertise in SAP FI-CO modules to ensure effective financial reporting and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support financial closing, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
Work with cross-functional teams to provide financial insight and recommendations to support strategic decision making.
Manage and lead financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.
Leverage SAP FI-CO modules and reporting tools to streamline financial reporting and improve data management.
Work closely with project teams on transformational finance projects, contributing insights and solutions to improve finance operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver key financial metrics, reports and forecasts within tight deadlines.
Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in accounting standards to continually improve finance processes.
What You Need to Be Successful:
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Finance, with a strong emphasis on Financial Planning and Analysis.
Proficiency in SAP FI-CO modules and reporting tools is essential; knowledge of SAP PS module is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of international accounting principles and practices.
Proven experience in leading or significantly contributing to finance transformation projects is advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive changes in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within project teams.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
