Your Role: We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Sales Area Manager to drive the growth of our Sustainability Product Portfolio in Italy and other key markets across Western Europe.
As a crucial member of our team, reporting directly to the Sales Manager for Western Europe, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new market opportunities, building meaningful customer relationships, and delivering innovative, customer-centric sustainability solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand TÜV SÜD's Sustainability services in Italy and across Western Europe.
Drive business development by identifying, engaging, converting potential clients, and building strong long-term relationships.
Take full commercial responsibility for our sustainability offerings, overseeing project management for key accounts.
Provide market insights to help drive the development of our global sustainability product portfolio.
Forge strategic partnerships with external stakeholders including government bodies, research institutes, and industry partners.
Act as a key contributor to sustainability knowledge within the business, conducting training sessions and maintaining an up-to-date understanding of market needs.
Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business, or related fields.
5-10 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical sales within the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry, preferably with exposure to sustainability.
Proven success in surpassing sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong customer-centric mindset with a collaborative, innovative approach.
Fluent in Italian and English; other European languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel (up to 30%).
