Qc Technician

**MAIN ACTIVITIES**:
- **Follow safety practices to comply with company policy and local regulations especially with regard to EHS rules.
**
- **General activities of the laboratory**:
**Calibration and use of laboratory instruments, loading data into software lab, management of priorities, raw materials and other material necessary for laboratory activities, management of Color Matching Wet standards, materials to be disposed of and 5S activities for QC Lab.
**
- **Quality control tests on final products and intermediates for internal use, solvent and water base.
**
- **Test QC su Clears, Thinners e Hardeners.
**
- **QC testing on raw materials.
**
- **Knowledge of colorimetry and color, use of the bench color meter.
**
- **Periodically analyze QC test data with the Team Leader and Supervisor in order to detect trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
**
- **Ensure compliance with the procedure to meet the needs of the customer.
**
- **Work in synergy with Team Leader and Supervisor to provide support to the Quality Assurance department to technically evaluate customer complaints.
**
- **Work in synergy with the Team Leader to ensure the daily management of the following activities in support of Manufacturing: Q.C tests for finished products, Q.C.
tests for intermediates, management of samples and preserved documents, laboratory analysis.
**
- **Support plant activities such as material recovery and support with innovative ideas and initiatives to reduce waste.
**
- **Query and management of the QC operational system**
**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Bachelor of Chemistry or Scientific Studies**
**Knowledge of laboratory instruments,** product chemistry and** technical evaluation (equipment and processes)**
**Chemical knowledge**
**Knowledge of products and production processes.
**
**Knowledge of English and Office programs**
**Work experience in the chemical laboratory**
