Our core values: care, courage, curiosity, and collaboration - combined with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities - are key drivers in our aim to empower everyone to create sustainable solutions.This position reports to Quality ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesYou will join the Laboratory team responsible for testing and certification of ABB low voltage products in the field of DIN-Rail, Wiring Accessories and Building Automation.
In particular, you will mainly focus on products having significant electronics, software/firmware and digital features.The work model for the role is: #onsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area in Vittuone.You will be mainly accountable for:Define new testing procedures and test cases to functionally verify the software/firmware performances of products and their correct integration in wider and more complex ecosystems.Perform software tests on various types of products according to test plan, standards and safety rules, within the timeline assigned.Closely collaborate with the R&D and Quality engineers to develop the best technical solutions to address quality issues and reach the requested product performances.Perform analysis on experimental data, summarize the results and prepare technical test reports on completed activities.Qualifications for the roleEffective at working independently and in a team setting.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge in communication protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, Profibus), PLC programming is a plus.Passionate about science and technology supported by a strong technical background.Master's degree (5 years) in Computer, Electronic, Electrical or Automation engineering.Fluent in Italian (C2 level) and English (at least B2 level), both written and spoken.More about usWe value people from different backgrounds.
