The General Manager of Thompson Rome will need to embody Hyatt ideals by devoting themselves to a clear vision of the Thompson and AG Group world and having a strong focus on employee management and especially on the level of service provided to guests. THOMPSON ROME The Thompson Rome is the perfect gateway to the vibrant heart of the Eternal City. Our hotel's prime location makes it easy to explore iconic landmarks and discover the city's hidden gems. With 69 elegantly designed rooms featuring local materials and cozy wooden floors, our guests can enjoy breathtaking views of Rome right from their window. The pure concept of Lifestyle combined with Italian hospitality. The General Manager at Thompson Rome will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of the hotel, ensuring the highest level of guest service and satisfaction. He/she will supervise staff, coordinate daily activities and develop strategies for increasing profitability and enhancing the overall guest experience. Supervise the property's overall strategy, performance and profitability, ensuring it is operating with excellence. Lead with high integrity and alignment with Hyatt's core values in order to maximize revenue and profit opportunities and ensure efficient and effective management of the property. Lead a diverse team that builds the trust of others in all interactions and cultivates a positive guest experience. Find ways to improve all areas of the property and be able to adapt to change. Ensure employee training in coordination with Hyatt standards on recruiting, onboarding and training procedures. Promote Thompson's vision and find the right balance between the concept of Lifestyle and Italian hospitality. Develop a strategic vision through managers in the hotel. Develop, implement and evaluate policies and procedures for the overall operations of each department or the entire facility. Supervise and handle any complaints to find immediate resolution and improve service, always aiming for the best. Use data in daily problem solving to address under-performance, test ideas, learn, and accurately measure impact. Support colleagues and people managers in their wellness journey so they can be at their best. Promote colleagues' experience by showing empathy and listening in their daily responsibilities. Set the pace and tone within the property with passion and enthusiasm that compels others to follow. Cultivate an atmosphere in which leaders are encouraged to look for new ways to capture, amplify, and reinforce the right behaviors. Ensure that property operations, guest service, and business offerings are aligned with the Thompson brand. Practice and promote environmental sustainability. Requirements for the position Currently working as General Manager. Experience in the Luxury and Lifestyle industry. Experience in F&B. Experience in Revenue & Sales. Knowledge of HYATT standards and procedures. Budget management. Knowledge of contractual aspects, labour legislation and knowledge of current regulations. Organizational and managerial skills.
