Our team is changing the way we interact with customers around the globe and building a new, emerging business in shipping to solve some of the biggest logistical challenges facing not just Amazon, but the entire industry.
Amazon Shipping is looking to hire a Business Analyst.
In this new role, you will support the Operations team by working with key data points, diving deep, spotting and analyzing trends, building a business need for change, and targeting areas to deliver the key goals within Amazon Shipping as well as directly supporting the operations team across ATS (Amazon Transportation Services) and AMZL (Amazon Logistics).
You will be a self-starter who is comfortable working with data and questioning the status quo to continuously improve our business.
This role will require you to work closely with the operations team, understanding existing issues with data, working out how to improve, what data points can be developed and presented differently, sharing knowledge on new and existing processes, actively tracking trends, and highlighting opportunities to improve the most important metrics.
You will have solid analytical skills and be an effective communicator, but most importantly, you'll be excited about putting our customers first.

As this position involves regular interaction with multiple clients, you need to be comfortable communicating robustly at different levels whilst also working directly with various functional teams and people at all levels of the organization across the Amazon business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
- Accredited experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Proficient level of Microsoft Office, SQL, and Visual Basic.
- Experience with performance metrics/KPIs and process improvement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge or experience with Tableau and Power BI.
- Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
- Solid analytical skills.
- Flexibility to work remotely.
- Customer focus and professional demeanor.
- Organizational skill and an operations mindset.
- A work ethic based on a solid desire to exceed expectations.
- Experience of working within logistics, transportation, or parcels environment.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and report to a remote manager.
- Display solid judgment on when to escalate problems, especially when dealing with ambiguity.
- Willing to engage in productive conflict resolution with key partners.
