Sales Director - Italy Company Overview:

This client is a European market leader in the freight forwarding industry, specializing in air and ocean freight solutions.
With a robust presence across Europe, the company is known for its innovative and customer-centric approach, delivering tailored logistics solutions across various industries.
As part of their ongoing expansion and commitment to excellence, they are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead their Italian market operations.
Position Summary:

The Sales Director - Italy will be responsible for driving the growth and development of the company's business in the Italian market.
This role requires extensive experience in freight forwarding and logistics, particularly in air and ocean freight.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales management, strategy implementation, client acquisition, and portfolio growth.
This position is open to applicants from any location across Italy.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets in alignment with overall business goals.
Identify market opportunities and trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Sales and Business Development:

Lead the sales team to drive new business and expand existing relationships.
Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Customer Experience:

Foster a customer-centric culture, enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and retention, and promptly address feedback to ensure high service standards.
Financial Management:

Manage the sales budget, allocate resources effectively, and monitor financial performance.
Provide regular financial reports and take corrective actions as needed.
Team Leadership and Development:

Build and lead a high-performing sales team, offering mentorship and promoting a diverse and inclusive environment.
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial positions in the freight forwarding and logistics, with significant experience in air and ocean freight.
Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing sales teams, with a strong emphasis on client acquisition and portfolio growth.
Fluent in Italian and English; proficiency in German or other languages would be an additional bonus.
Demonstrated commitment to long-term career progression within the company.
