For an Italian tech scale-up that develops a leading product at the European level in the sector, and is rapidly expanding internationally, we are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join the tech team.
Your Mission : Build and Scale : Help us scale our platform to impact millions more customers globally.Own the User Experience : Take full ownership of our backend systems, optimizing performance and ensuring seamless integration of services.Collaborate with Tribes : Work within a highly collaborative tribe model, teaming up with other developers and product teams to create a scalable, automated platform.Data-Driven Decisions : Analyze user data to continuously improve the product and guide our roadmap.What We're Looking For : Product Passion : You have a passion for creating products that solve real-world problems, especially for the users you serve.Java Expert : Strong knowledge of backend development using Java, Spring Boot, or Grails, with experience in building RESTful APIs.NoSQL Knowledge : Familiar with NoSQL databases and complex queries (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).Cloud Savvy : Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and an understanding of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration principles.Git Proficiency : Strong experience with version control using Git.Bonus Skills : Scalability Expert : Experience building modular, scalable commercial software systems.Messaging Systems : Familiar with services like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.Microservices Architecture : Solid understanding of microservices-based architecture.Frontend & Mobile Experience : Some knowledge of front-end and mobile frameworks (e.g., Angular, Flutter).What we offer : Tech Experience : Gain experience in the rapidly expanding Tech industry, both in Italy and internationally.Flexibility : Enjoy a hybrid work model with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.Team Culture : Be part of a vibrant, dynamic tribe that values collaboration, ownership, and innovation.Innovation Freedom : Shape the vision of the platform and drive its success.Tech Events & Training : Access to tech events, conferences, and personal development sessions.Top Gear : We'll set you up with a MacBook Pro.Central Location : Our office is located in central Milan, easily accessible by public transport.
