Job Overview:
As a Dishwasher on our luxury train cruise, you play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. Your primary responsibility is to ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly and efficiently. You will support the kitchen staff by maintaining a clean working environment and adhering to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitation:
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment.
Kitchen Support:
Assist kitchen staff by organizing and storing clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in their proper places.
Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling according to the established procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen and wait staff to ensure the seamless operation of the dining service.
Health and Safety:
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly. Qualifications:

Experience & Certifications:
Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Ability to operate dishwashing machinery and other cleaning equipment.
Certification in food handling or sanitation is a plus.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
Good organizational skills to manage a high volume of dishes and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen and wait staff.
Flexibility:
Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
