Who will you be working with?
Avellino site is a manufacturer and supplier of brake pads for freight and passenger trains. You will be part of the Design & Development department, working for the Test Responsible in a team of 6 people.
How will you make a difference?
As a Test Specialist you will be responsible for starting up the test stands, evaluating the test data, analyzing the measurement data, documenting the test data, reporting, coordinating the test stand occupancy and sequence, instructing the mechanical modifications to be made, and maintenance, fault diagnosis and coordination of troubleshooting for failures of the test systems, conception and planning of new test facilities.
What will your typical day look like?
Creation of program and graphic templates Checking the input parameters Evaluation, control and analysis of test data Detailed plausibility check of the achieved measurement results Planning of tests with the aim of maximum system utilization Checking customer specifications for feasibility Coordination and implementation of the semi-annual calibration of the measuring chains Planning up to commissioning Conducting measurements in the field What do we want to know about you?
Degree or high school certification in technical / engineering field +3 years of experience in a similar role Knowledge and experience in the field of electrical engineering, technical mechanics and machine elements Professional knowledge of English Good knowledge of MS Office (Matlab, Diadem are considered a plus) Able to work in a team as well as independently Enthusiasm and curiosity for the subjects Flexibility and availability for occasional travel Legal authorization to work in EU is required.
