For a large and prestigious construction project for a top global firm in Athens (Greece), he is responsible for drawing up the Project Program, monitoring progress during construction and analyzing deviations from the planned plan.DUTIES RESPONSABILITIESIs responsible for planning and periodically updating the program for the assignment order, reporting to the Project Control Manager.Coordinates the construction site operational planners, if any.Develops the detailed project program (level IV) based on the planned activities and quantities with drawings defined by the Technical Office, able to work autonomously following Corporate Project Controls Procedure.Interfaces with the Project Manager and the Project Control Manager frequently, reports deviations from the plan, and suggests any corrective actions.Interfaces with the various Corporate company functions (e.g.
technical office, purchasing office, construction site) in order to guarantee correct, complete and timely monitoring and updating of the project program.Liaising with Company/Client during periodical meetings.Follows the drafting of the daily report, and is responsible for the production of reports relating to the progress of the project: weekly, bi-weekly and/or monthly reports.Provides an estimate of the man hours necessary to carry out the various project activities, collects the final data and compares them with the planned, reporting any deviations to the Project Manager.Collaborates with the project Cost Controller for the drafting of the Cost Control Report on an average quarterly basis.Keeps the Planning Leader Project Manager constantly updated on the progress of the project, reporting the main critical issues, risks and opportunities.Updating the physical and economical progress by using labor and non labor resources with the VoWD technique.Better if familiar with Contract Management dynamics (DCMA-14, Acumen fuse checks, schedule check, SCL Protocol).REQUIRED COMPETENCESAt least 3 years experience as a planner on large construction projects.Knowledge of Ms Excel, familiar with pivot tables and large databases.Professional knowledge of Primavera P6 planning software.Knowledge of the English language.The ability to know how to read technical documents such as: civil and isometric drawings, mechanical diagrams (PFD or PID), single-line electrical drawings is an advantage.QUALIFICATIONSGraduate in Engineering.EU resident/work permit available LOCATIONGreece - Athens.
