Job Description
We are looking for an Electrical-Mechanical Integration Engineer to join our team, your main missions will be:
Perform electrical-mechanical integration (electrical cubicles and harnesses / cable tray / routing) activities and deliverables on projects and tenders in compliance with quality, cost & delivery commitments
Performing 3D, design annotations and 2D deliverables for electrical-mechanical integration and updating these deliverables according engineering change requests
Defining requirements and mechanical & electrical interfaces, to equipment, cubiclesharnesses, cable tray & junction box (allocated volume, weight, location, use of standard parts, etc.)
Ensuring consistency of mechanical & electrical interfaces, compliance with requirements on domain scope. Checking with respect of allocated volumes/interfaces (no-clashes) on internal design
Helping electrical engineering colleagues to prepare and document the activities in order to sustain design reviews
Checking electrical routing sub-systems deliveries conformity with project needs
Realizing Bill of Material (BoM)
Applying customer rules, processes and tools and ensuring deliverables quality and their acceptance by the customer (internal or external) within committed limits
Designing products taking into account project requirements (performances, manufacturability, serviceability, testability, etc.)
Integrating and validating the harnesses design
Integrating the requirements coming from: industrialization, harness design, EMC, and maintainability
Reporting on activities progress and alerting relevant responsible in case of issues potentially impacting the achievement of quality, cost & delivery commitments
Qualifications
Bachelor degree minimum or equivalent
Mechanical Engineer preferably applied to Railway products with 3 to 5 years' experience
Good communication and interpersonal skills including with third parties in an international environment
Time management and reporting skills
3D Modelling, drawing rules and stack-up analysis
Sense of urgency / priority
Structured and organized with hands-on approach
Fluent English (reading/writing and in technical meetings)
Catia V5 mandatory (harness module EHI preferred)
