As an IS Specialist , you will manage the hardware and much of the software needs of your local branch and customer base. Your internal customers are a diverse mix of technical and non-technical individuals, so you will develop your skills communicating with both areas. Your skills in developing tools and technical solutions will assist in improving the branch's processes and productivity. You will have ownership of the purchase, inventory, and setup of new systems and devices, ensuring that the network operates consistently and efficiently. You are an integral member of the team that ensures the effective management of technology and systems, keeping us operating efficiently.
We mainly hire on attitude and we train on skills. We still require you to demonstrate the below core competencies when applying:
Previous experience in an IS related field; troubleshooting hardware and Windows is a plus
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Solid oral and written communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
Oral and written proficiency in the Italian and English language
Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
Must have the ability to work independently and in an international team environment
Candidate should have a work permit to work in EU countries
Willing to travel across Italy if required (Turin, Bologna, Verona, Firenze, Roma Fiumicino, and Napoli)
Key Responsibilities:
Hardware Management: You will continuously manage the operational effectiveness of the branch's hardware, taking control of inventory, end of life, ordering, setup, and retiring of all hardware.
Software: You will have responsibility for troubleshooting software issues, rolling out new software solutions, backing up and storing data securely, and effectively using technical solutions that support operational performance.
