At Ascom, our dedication translates into tangible impact, enriching the experiences of everyone entering the healthcare facilities and care homes we partner with.Join us as the Head of Digistat Core, where you'll lead our Software Engineering team in designing, implementing, and operating our Digistat software product.
Drive timely delivery and ensure process compliance, while supporting customer satisfaction and sales success.Your Contributions:Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design.Develop (as team), test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications.
(coding is not a required task)Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.Support the V&V team in deployment of releases.Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.Analyze and provide guidance in solving technical and application problems.Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.Provide, as team, third-level support to business users.Research and evaluate a variety of software products.The Ideal Candidate:Strong work experience in software development.Experience managing developer teams of more than 3 persons.Understanding of software design and development.Business and technical education, with a Master/Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience/track record in software engineering.Proven technical skills.Language Skills:Fluent in a minimum of 2 languages, both oral and written (English mandatory).Strong writing skills, able to express ideas clearly in short, easy-to-read texts.Personality Traits:Innovator with a creative mindset.Structured and clear communicator.Ability to succeed despite obstacles and find solutions forward.Resilient in the face of failure.Capable of driving and motivating others.Team player with a sense of individual and shared responsibilities, willing to make decisions under pressure even with incomplete information.Possesses a strategic and holistic view.Strong organizational skills.Results-oriented.Tenacious about meeting tight budgets and deadlines.What We Offer You:A company you can take pride in.Inspiring and collaborative colleagues.Abundant opportunities for personal and professional growth.The chance to work with cutting-edge technology in the healthcare industry.Flexible remote work.Join Us and Make an Impact:Ascom is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.
