Working as Land Manager in OX2 The Land Manager has a responsibility for securing and managing the land rights for the wind, photovoltaic and BESS projects under development by OX2 in Italy. This includes contacts with landowners and relevant stakeholders, as well as negotiation and drafting and securing of land agreements.
This position is open in several locations in Italy.
Your main responsibilities: As part of the Development team, the Land Manager is responsible for securing land rights to allow planning, permitting, construction, operations and maintenance of wind, PV and BESS plants in Italy. Responsibilities include among others: Contact landowners, arrange landowner meetings, draft, negotiate and ensure agreements being signed by both parties, engage with the notaries. When needed, manage the public expropriation procedure for securing the project land rights. Responsible for land agreements and landowner information being entered, stored and constantly updated in the Land Management Support System (OX2 internal system). Arrange landowner meetings during all project phases to keep them informed about the project and its progress and be available for questions from landowners. Due diligence, from land management point of view, of projects to be acquired preparing the cost calculation for land agreements. Update data rooms with required documentation. Personally, or in collaboration with GIS Engineers, produce map material that illustrates the agreements signed in the project. Land Manager works in close collaboration with other project team members and land management team while the work is primarily independent. Your qualifications and experience: Applicable education, for example Forestry, Real Estate, Law, Environmental Engineering. Work experience in similar position with familiarity with wind and solar projects. Strong negotiation skills with different stakeholders. Experience of handling contracts. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Detail orientated and systematic way of working. Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Honesty and reliability. Fluent language proficiency in Italian and English. Experience within the following areas are valuable but not required: Skills with geographical information systems (GIS) is a plus. Employment rate: Full time
