To help us achieve this purpose for our manufacturing site in Pisa, we are now hiring a DDT Expert. This role will assist in creating the digital and innovation strategy roadmap for the site and collaborate with stakeholders and IT/technical leaders on digital transformation projects. We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative individual who enjoys tackling challenges and is eager to learn. How you will contribute:Collaborate on developing DDT solutions to business problems, such as integrated processes, applications, data, and technology componentsDevelop an understanding of business value, dependencies, and risks and apply this knowledge proactivelyDevelop user stories and specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings ensuring implementation of design principles, technical guidelines and best practices as established for projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to support data-driven initiatives and projectsProvide technical in monitoring of daily operations, depending on personal knowledge and technical skillsAssist on projects bridging the gap between a highly-regulated manufacturing environment with a focus on Patients and People with the state-of-the-art developments in Digitalisation and Technological InnovationProvide input for hardware and software selection, purchasing, installations, upgrades, and maintenance.What you bring to Takeda:Bachelor/Master degree in IT/Computer Science/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing/Mechatronics or related area with 2 or more years of professional experience in roles supporting Innovation, Digitalisation, Automation or Manufacturing Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and ability to understand and address business requirements.Effective leadership, self-management, time management and learning capabilitiesSome experience in programming/data manipulation or analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar languagesFirst knowledge or exposure to: SCRUM, Agile Methodologies, Change Management, Project ManagementFamiliarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software would be a benefitFamiliarity with statistical concepts and techniquesAbility to effectively communicate and ask probing questionsAbility to write and speak in the English languageA good sense of humor and motivation for learning and co-creating sustainable change and improvement Important Considerations:At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product. In this role (which is primarily office-based), when you are entering the manufacturing facilities you will:Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.Work in a cold, wet environment.Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.Some travel may be requiredMore about us:At Takeda, we are transforming patient care through the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals and best in class patient support programs.
