The Diabetes Care (DC) team use deep expertise and sophisticated technologies to continuously innovate our pen needles, insulin syringes and other products to enable people who are living with diabetes to benefit from comfortable, effective Diabetes Care. We offer some of the world's leading devices for insulin injection and award-winning educational programs to help people with diabetes help themselves.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Sales Manager for Italy and Greece, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business objectives and sales budget achievement. This position requires building and managing relationships with key partners, both public and private, and adapting to a dynamic environment. Your mission is to provide innovative medical technology solutions that meet the needs of clinical and non-clinical healthcare partners.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Leadership & Strategy: Provide effective leadership, set sales strategies, and manage team priorities to achieve sales goals.
- Market Analysis & Key Accounts: Stay updated on market dynamics, identify unmet needs in key accounts, and propose solutions to maintain and grow the customer portfolio.
- Partner Engagement: Build and maintain valuable relationships with both public and private partners, including C-level individuals, to foster trust and credibility.
- Data Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze sales forecasts, and market trends to make data-driven decisions for long-term sales projections.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in Diabetes Care, including product knowledge and services, and effectively use negotiation and strategic selling techniques.
- Communication & Feedback: Gather field information, provide structured feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture business opportunities and improve processes.
About you:
- Education & Experience: University degree in Scientific Disciplines or equivalent, with sales experience in biomedical settings, including complex public tenders.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in English; Spanish proficiency is an asset.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in sales leadership, Diabetes Care product knowledge, and understanding customer/partner needs.
- Conflict Resolution: Skilled in dispute resolution, both internally and with external collaborators.
- Sales Skills: Outstanding sales mentor abilities, negotiation, and strategic selling techniques.
