Our client's Microsoft Business Solutions team is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organisations, providing their clients with the ability to keep up with the ever-changing digital world by implementing Microsoft's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line.
As they continue to grow and strengthen their support and managed services offerings, they are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join their team.Role overviewOur client is looking for a talented Data Engineer who will assist in designing and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) and large-scale Data Analytics solutions for their customers.
The role is highly technical and requires a robust understanding of data architecture and modelling concepts.
The role also demands strong analytical, problem solving, and planning skills.
The successful applicant will require strong communication and collaboration skills and the motivation to achieve results in a dynamic business environment.Job Type: Full TimeWork Place: OnsiteLocation: Malta, Europe (Relocate to Malta)Relocation: VISA Relocation Package IncludedRequirementsMinimum of 6 years experience in designing and implementing Azure Data solutions using services such as:Azure Synapse AnalyticsAzure Data Lake Storage Gen2Azure SQL DatabaseAzure Data FactoryAzure Stream AnalyticsAzure DatabricksAzure Blob storageAzure Cosmos DBHave extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Power BIExperience in OLAP technology and the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS)An understanding of Master Data Management and Data Governance frameworksFamiliar with development approaches such as CI/CD and MicroservicesHave strong working knowledge of Azure DevOpsStrong communication and collaboration skillsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsBe customer-service orientedBe able to work in a fast-paced, changing environmentProficient in spoken and written EnglishGraduate-level education in Computer Science or a relevant field, or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable levelFormal training and/or certification on related technologies is highly valuedExtensive experience working in a similar roleKnowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 products, the Dataverse (CDS) and Microsoft Power Platform will be considered an assetResponsibilitiesArchitecting and general end-to-end design of BI and Data Analytics solutionsDesigning and building efficient, appropriate, data models and pipelinesHelping to embed technical architecture and documentation standards, governance, policies, processes, and proceduresWorking with business experts and customers to understand business needs, translating business requirements into reporting and data analytics functionalityAssisting in scoping, estimation and task planning for assigned projectsRemaining up to date in new and emerging technologiesFollowing project work plans to meet functionality requirements, project objectives, and timelinesProviding accurate and complete technical architectural documentsAddressing customer queries and issues in a timely mannerProviding hands on guidance to other team members #J-18808-Ljbffr
