Our Supply Chain team manage a virtual, global supply chain, sourcing active ingredients from China and India and outsourcing manufacturing to toll formulation partners in Europe and delivering finished product direct to distributor and co-operative customers in key EU markets. Our success to date has enabled us to build an impressive portfolio across key EUR markets, including many first to market products. Regulatory expertise has been core to this success.
Why this role? To ensure further growth in Europe, this role will be responsible for developing the sales portfolio in Italy while providing the necessary technical, marketing and regulatory support. The successful candidate will act as Life Scientific's ambassador, develop partnerships with key accounts and work closely with the Supply, Marketing, R&D and Finance teams.
What the Role involves Achieve annual sales budget for Italy,Develop national sales strategy, including sales policy and pricing,Manage commercial negotiations: price/volume, terms of sale, delivery times,Implement & develop distribution network in the territory concerned,Build the 5-year key account strategic plan by identifying market/product opportunities,Set up and monitor sales management tools: forecasts, stocks, market shares, etc.Manage overall customer relationships (TD, regulatory, marketing), including after-sales service,Implement actions to ensure customer satisfaction (KPIs),Manage SG&A Marketing Projects allocation efficiently.Ensure competitive intelligence on the territory concerned, including market data consolidation: market size, market shares & competition, pricing to ensure market competitiveness,In close collaboration with R&D, identify & screen product portfolio adapted to local needs; coordinate portfolio advancement & life cycle,Provide key inputs and guidance to Budget & Long Range Plan (LRP) processes.Attributes Minimum of 10 years' experience in Crop Protection with a strong knowledge of Italian industry and distribution systemExcellent organisational skillsLeads with a customer centric focusExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to analyse, understand and summarise dataAbility to work in a teamLife Scientific is an Equal Opportunity Employer
