A one-of-a-kind company in the industry interpreting the identity of each of the brands in its portfolio.With thirty years of experience, which started with Diesel Kid and grew with the junior line of Dsquared2, Marni Kids and most recent N21 Kid fashion brand, Brave Kid has become a global leader in the childrenswear market, capable of interpreting each brand's unique identity, and transforming it into high-quality collections.Thanks to a structure based primarily on highly qualified specialists, particularly in design and product development, Brave Kid promotes and respects the uniqueness of each brand, transforming it in junior collections that reflect it, and at the same time providing its partners an incredible know-how in distribution and, more broadly, in the worldwide kidswear market.The brands produced and sold by Brave Kid are distributed in over 50 countries and 1,000 points of sale in key department stores and leading specialized stores across Europe, America and Asia.Already counting on a strong wholesale distribution base, the company is studying the retail development of some of the brands it manages, to further establish their presence and visibility all around the world.Main activities and responsibilities:Pre-seasonWork closely with Retail merchandising office in defining seasonal brief highlighting regional needs and opportunities.Implement Brand Strategy following merchandising inputs on product selection and key stories/concepts to push.Defining the European buying strategy for related Collections also collaborating with Regional Planning on building seasonal plan by collection/store.Execute category buying by size based on merchandising inputs, seasonal budget and historical analysis.
Define initial order and Open to Buy by Store.Build the European collection structure and product workflow.In-seasonWork with Visual Merchandising Team to ensure visual guidelines represent the EU Seasonal Buy, pushing key investment pieces.Prepare training documents for Stores explaining the buying Strategy and key messages of the season.Analyze collection performances and activate prompt recovery plan if needed.Presence in the market to identify new competitors and missed opportunities.
Maintain strong knowledge of the consumer base by participating at Store visits.Work with allocation team on in season transfers and reactions.Post-SeasonIdentify key learning on the closed Season to feedback related departments.Main requirements:The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years Retail buying experience in modernly structured fashion companies.Previous experience in the management of Male RTW product.A degree in Economics, Fashion Management or similar.Excellent knowledge of the English language.Mastery in the use of the main Office tools (particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint).Ability to work under pressure and multitask and a strong pro-activity.Experience in managing a team is a plus.Sharp business sense and passion for the world of fashion, good aesthetic sensibility and a personal interest in new trends.Precision and detail orientation, goal orientation, flexibility and enthusiasm complete the profile.What we offer:A Full Time Permanent ContractAn awesome, young and dynamic teamPossibility to work in the European HQ of one of the leading Italian fashion companies belonging to one of the most important luxury fashion groupsA generous employee discount on Diesel and OTB group Brands?Highly inclusive working environmentLunch vouchers for each working dayAs part of OTB Group, we work in a proactive environment, where everyone is challenged to achieve new goals, outstanding performances are recognized, and valuable career opportunities are provided to all employees.For us People come first: we have an international environment with employees of 60 nationalities and more than 60% women, with 35 years as average age.
