Design Engineer Hull, Marine Systems and Safety

PURPOSE:

The Design Engineer Hull, Marine Systems and Safety

will support the team in the revision of drawings, plans and technical specifications during the plan approval process.
They will keep track of the status of each project, ensuring that the Director is kept up to date on any potential issues.

MAIN TASKS:

Support the Director, Hull Marine and Safety and the Senior Manager Safety System in the revision of the drawings, plans and technical specification during the plan approval processSupport the Director, Hull Marine and Safety and the Senior Manager Safety System during the project development, technical specification review and preparationFollow up open items from the plan approval process with the Yard representatives and attend meetings with the Yard technical office for open items discussion and resolutionReport to the Director, Hull Marine and Safety and the Senior Manager Safety System with reference to the progress of the plan approval, status of the open items and potential main open issuesKeep track and report the weight and stability status of the project and highlight any potential issueCooperate with the Vessel Operation team during the project development and plan approval periodTake part in the sea trialsSupport the Director, Hull Marine and Safety and the Senior Manager Safety System during the Vessel delivery phase

EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Confident using CAD/MicroStationExperience with Microsoft Office SuiteProficient in the English Language (B1 or above) and ItalianDemonstratable Team Working SkillsExcellent Communication SkillsOrganisational Skills
