Reporting directly to the Senior VAT and Indirect Tax Compliance Manager, the Tax Specialist will deal with all the activities related to taxes for the EMEA region of Guess Europe.
Income tax for EMEA countries:Support the tax team in the tax provision calculationMaintain statutory books and US-GAAP booksMonitor income tax paymentsReconcile tax GL accountsEnsure that income tax returns and other income tax obligations are fulfilled on timeSupport the tax team in drafting the tax forecastAssist the tax team in case of audits by tax authoritiesIndirect tax for EMEA countries:Support the indirect-tax team in:Monthly VAT returnsIntrastat declarationsVAT GL account reconciliationsSOX controlsAudits by tax authoritiesTransfer pricing for EMEA countries:Collect information for the annual Transfer Pricing documentationReview the Transfer Pricing reportsSupport the tax team in drafting the Country by Country ReportTax depreciation and amortization:Calculate depreciation and amortization according to tax rulesSupport General Ledger department in accounting reconciliationsRequirements:High school or University degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or similarFluent EnglishAny other language will be considered a plusGood knowledge of Microsoft Office packageAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelStrong accounting knowledgeBenefits:An international, fresh and dynamic working environmentBalance between work and personal life: Smart Working (Hybrid work model) and time flexibilityPhysical & Mental Health programs, sustainable projects, and workshops promoted by Guess CommunityArts, sports, and social events outside the office, thanks to our Guess Fun activitiesTraining & Development platform and pathsDiscount on our products both online and in storesDon't miss your chance to join a progressive and sustainable global company, which is constantly looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow in a competitive and tough market.
