Terna is seeking a Permitting Specialist for its Rome office to join the Major International Projects Branch of the Permitting team in the Design and Implementation of HVDC and Marine Systems - Permitting Enviromental and Land Acquisition facility .
The successful candidate will join the Permitting team and will be responsible for:
Assisting the authorisation assessment for the subsequent phases during preliminary planning. Verifying the opinions of the relevant Bodies and the progress of the procedure, highlighting any critical issues regarding the requirements, during the ministerial authorisation phase. Collaborating with the project teams to draw up the technical specifications in order to ensure the proper implementation of technical requirements, during the executive design phase. Collaborating with the project teams to supervise and guide executive design, for the aspects within their remit. Planning second-level authorisations, coordinating everything needed to handle the authorisation procedures necessary to guarantee the availability of areas to open work sites on, the continuity of the works and compliance verifications, ensuring dialogue with the bodies, subsequent to obtaining the ministerial authorisation. Supporting the Area Head and Project Manager in planning and managing activities. Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Master's degree in civil, electrical, environmental or territorial engineering, degree in technical/scientific disciplines, degree in law, or diploma in surveying At least 3 years' professional experience  Experience in project and resource coordination, potentially in the role of Project Manager Knowledge of Microsoft Project management software Knowledge of English and/or French Ability to work in a team, excellent skills in planning and financial contract management, proactive and dynamic approach to work Excellent interpersonal skills Experience in the field of authorisations We offer a workplace where people can effectively collaborate, be enterprising and participate in creating an innovative work environment aimed at well-being throughout the organisation.
