We are seeking a Management Accountant who is passionate about financial sustainability If that's you, apply for this role now
As an A08 Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives within our government Health organisation. You will be responsible for creating a Financial Sustainability.
Plan, managing budgets, reconciling service agreements and expenses, and presenting financial data effectively. Your work will support our mission to enhance sustainable practices and make a lasting difference to this government organisation
What's in it for you? Competitive hourly rate of $88.39 per hour + super Start ASAP, until 30th September with possible extension Brisbane CBD location Work within a profile role Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a Financial Sustainability Plan with the guidance of the Director. Allocate budgets using a new P/L approach Collaborate with the finance team to ensure clear lines of accountability Document processes and create reporting templates Utilize systems like SAP/DSS/BPT to understand costings Apply detailed knowledge of hospital systems Drive process improvements based on previous experience Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of financial processes and systems Technical expertise in Excel, including advanced functions Ability to analyze data and integrate information effectively Experience in budgeting and revenue management Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Previous experience in a similar role is preferred Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field (preferred) Experience within the government sector is highly desirable You will be part of a dedicated team committed to advancing sustainability within our organisation.
