The hydrogen-powered Internal Combustion Engine (H2ICE) is a revolutionary technology that plays a pivotal role in the future of sustainable energy and transportation. To unlock the full potential of H2ICE technology, efficient simulation models and control systems are essential. Accurate and optimized models allow engineers to perform rapid analyses, optimize performance, and prototype control strategies with precision. This is where your expertise comes in. We are seeking master's graduates with an engineering background to undertake a thesis project focused on the development of an H2ICE model in MATLAB and Simulink. The project will involve leveraging existing gasoline engine libraries and adapting, optimizing, and tailoring them for hydrogen applications. The goal is to create a reliable and versatile simulation tool that will enable quick analyses and the prototyping of control systems to improve H2ICE performance and efficiency.
