Galileo is looking for a Finance Analyst/Associate who will be based in Milan,reporting to Galileo's Group Financial planning Director.What you'll do:Support the Group Financial planning Director in managing theconsolidation of financial forecasting and budgeting processes (P&L,cash flow, balance sheet);Modelling of the Company's business plan;Assisting the Group Controller in the preparation of support packs forthe Board of Directors, the Audit Risk and Compliance Committee as well asother ad hoc shareholder deliverables;Support the development and application of a consolidated companyvaluation model for shareholder valuation purposes;Manage control structures to ensure timely and accurate results andforecasts and feedback loops to the business;Implement, coordinate, and track actual vs forecasted budgets acrossvarious departments and projects including M&A transactions, projectdevelopment, and construction activities;Conduct variance analytics and support the key business stakeholderson an action plan to achieve positive changes to the operational metrics;Manage relationships with business and functional leaders to ensurethat finance and accounting needs and activities are understood andintegrated into the wider business.Requirements What you'll need:Bachelor's or master'sdegree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline;At least 2 years ofrelevant experience in corporate finance or FP&A;Strongknowledge of Excel and Power Point;Excellentverbal and written communication skills in English; another European languageis a plus;Attention to detailand analytical attitude;Enthusiasm andself-motivation, including a willingness to take on new challenges and broad responsibilities.In return for your expertise and commitment, we will provide a fast-paced and stimulating international environment that will stretch your abilities as well as support your continued development.
