L'inserimento è previsto in queste aree di business: Smart Infrastructures: focalizzata su attività di sviluppo e gestione delle infrastrutture funzionali alla distribuzione di energia elettrica, al trasporto e distribuzione di gas naturale, al teleriscaldamento e agli impianti di illuminazione pubblica e semaforica. Gestisce l'intero ciclo idrico integrato e la vendita di calore e di elettricità prodotti da impianti di cogenerazione. Sviluppa infrastrutture nel campo delle telecomunicazioni, progetta soluzioni e applicazioni finalizzati alla realizzazione di nuovi modelli di città e territorio e al miglioramento della qualità della vita dei cittadini. Realizza e gestisce una rete di infrastrutture di ricarica funzionali all'elettrificazione dei trasporti.
Ambiente: focalizzata sulla gestione del ciclo integrato dei rifiuti, dalla raccolta e spazzamento, al trattamento, smaltimento e recupero di materia ed energia. Con numerosi impianti di combustione o discarica assicura l'eventuale recupero energetico mediante la termovalorizzazione o lo sfruttamento del biogas.
Generazione e Trading: focalizzata sulla gestione delle attività di ingegneria, realizzazione e Operations&Maintenance del portafoglio impianti di generazione elettrica (eolici, solari, idroelettrici e termoelettrici) per una potenza installata complessiva di 9,2 GW, con il duplice scopo di massimizzare la disponibilità e l'efficienza degli impianti, ottimizzando i costi di esercizio e manutenzione.
