Refrigeration Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift Location: San Lorenzo, CA (Onsite)
Hourly Rate: $31.70 – $45.07
Department: Manufacturing / Mechanical
Position OverviewThis role focuses on maintaining and operating refrigeration and HVAC systems within a safe, efficient, and well-organized facility. It offers excellent benefits, career growth opportunities, and a collaborative environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance and Housekeeping: Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance of refrigeration areas, ensuring safety and organization.Technical Proficiency: Interpret schematics, plans, and manuals to support refrigeration and HVAC systems.Support and Coordination: Assist with general building repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and coordinate with external contractors for service and maintenance.Regulatory Compliance: Maintain operations in line with USDA and plant sanitation standards.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2 years in industrial refrigeration, ammonia, electrical, or HVAC.Preferred Education: Associate degree in Refrigeration, HVAC, or Electrical; certifications such as RETA, CARO, or FCF are advantageous.Certifications: Willingness to obtain OSHA Hazmat and RETA certifications within the first year.
