RINA is currently recruiting for a Mechanical design engineer to join its office in Rome within the Materials & Technologies Division.
Mission This role is focused on providing specialized consulting services for 3D CAD design of complex mechanical structures
Required know-how and specific skills For technical consulting activities, the following experiences/skills are required:
Design of complex mechanical structures (metallic components and assemblies) Design of structures in composite materials (laminates) Support to the team in the prototyping phase of the product Support to the team for the development of the final product design and the preparation of all associated documentation necessary for industrialization 3D CAD modeling using PTC Creo design software Autonomous management of exchange outputs (*.pdf, *.dwg, *.prt, *.asm, *.parasolid, and *.step) using PLM/Windchill software Management of PTC Creo software integrated into the PLM/Windchill environment Proficiency in synthesizing and creating explanatory presentations of the work completed Ability to collaborate effectively within an integrated team environment, while also demonstrating autonomy when required. Any previous professional experience gained in activities similar is considered preferential.
Education Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
