NTT DATA Services is currently looking for a
**Business Consulting Director **for our growing team in
**Italy.
**
As a Business Consulting Director at Chainalytics, an NTT DATA company, you support in growing the European Chainalytics' business.
This European team is creating value for their clients by improving the supply chains by improving network design, transportation and planning.
Chainalytics has been very successful in growing its o9 proposition in the Netherlands and Finland.
As Director you will be responsible for replicating that success in Italy.
This means business development, closely working with o9 partner and working with Italian team to grow.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide deep domain knowledge in the integrated demand and supply planning (IDSP) arena
- Develop IDSP growth in Italian market with focus on the o9 proposition
- Oversee and drive delivery of o9 services and project activities
- According to business growth take ownership of recruitment
- Facilitate learning curve of delivery team on o9 proposition
- Deliver thought leadership and market-facing content
- Create and foster relationships with clients and alliance partners
- Identify new business opportunities
- Develop services approach and scope of work
- Create related proposals and drive continued revenue growth
- Recruit, mentor and manage consultants
- Increase visibility of company in the European market, and in particular in the Italian market
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a leading institution in engineering, operations research, supply chain management or related major (Master's degree preferred).
- Show multiple years of experience in the supply chain industry, preferably working with quantitative tools and methodology in analyzing supply chain decisions (specific experience in consulting is a significant advantage)
- Demonstrate a track record of leading and delivering on supply chain projects (focus on supply chain operations and planning is preferred)
- Have the skills and experience to understand client requirements, manage client expectations, use quantitative methodologies, and execute on delivery plans
- Have superior and creative problem-solving skills with a strong working knowledge of data manipulation tools such as MS Access, Excel, and Tableau.
- Possess excellent client communication and management skills and experience
- Possess the leadership and mentorship skills to help develop junior consultants and analysts
- Experience working with planning tools from e.g.
o9 Technology and BlueYonder is appreciated
The Business Consulting Director must be comfortable operating in these roles:

- Leader: Significant experience leading teams and track record of consistently delivering valuable projects
- Doer: Ability to successfully deliver end-to-end solutions, working through the many obstacles along the way
- Communicator: Ability to communicate expectations and requirements equally well with business and technology teams, and capacity to write well-reasoned and data-driven proposals, performing your own data analysis as necessary
- Problem Solver: Ability to utilize exceptional problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenges
**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- This position is based mostly out of your home office, to some extent being on site in Milan, Italy (Chainalytics office) and on clients' sites.
