Looking for a temporary, part-time Communications Coordinator to work 15-25 hours/week to assist the Associate Director, Communications with internal & external communication activities across a broad range of business needs, such as website content, social media, public relations, company and industry events, and clinical trial recruitment.
Responsibilities
• Draft and edit internal and external communications deliverables to maintain consistent voice, messaging, and quality.
• Create content for internal communications, employee resources, and social media.
• Build and expand the Company's social media profiles and presence by curating compelling content as well as monitoring social media activity related to the industry.
• Develop, curate, and oversee social media and digital content, including graphics, images, videos, and written material, across multiple platforms.
• Source content for and create, design, and facilitate the distribution of regular internal newsletters.
• Assist with routine corporate website updates including reviewing and editing content, ensuring messaging is consistent across all channels and platforms for external communications.
• Support communications for conference participation, to include helping draft materials and creating graphics for social media posts and conference landing page website updates.
• Organize and file press releases, news articles, photos, graphic layouts, and communication documents on the Communications SharePoint page.
• Develop and maintain brand book and guidelines for employees. Create presentations, templates, and other communication materials.
Knowledge & Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Evidence of previous website content management, social media management writing, editing and/or project management experience.
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in SharePoint is a plus.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• Previous graphic design experience with proficiency in Canva.
• Previous social media experience.
• Previous experience using WordPress preferred.
