For over 50 years, the ERBC Group has established itself as a key international partner as a Contract Research Organization (CRO) for pharmaceutical, biotechnological, and chemical companies specializing in the safety evaluation of innovative drugs (pharmacology and toxicology) and chemical compounds.
Arising from a strategic merger between two CROs located in Pomezia (near Rome) and Baugy (near Bourges) in 2019, ERBC has since broadened its horizons through various organic growth initiatives and multiple mergers and acquisitions.

Comprising ERBC (non-clinical evaluation), Voxcan (preclinical medical imaging in oncology, infectiology, osteoarticular), OncoFactory (preclinical and clinical evaluation in oncology), Novaxia (histopathology and pathology), and Bioprim (accommodation and breeding of non-human primates), the Group develops a range of unique services from preliminary stages in "Discovery," regulatory stages to entry into the clinical phase to ensure the best chances of success for the R&D projects of our clients.

ERBC is looking for an Accounting Specialist Italy W/M to join the Finance division within Pomezia Site (Rome).

Who You Are The Finance division, led by the Chief Financial Officer, is structured around 2 departments: Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis.
Operating globally with the key stakeholders of Business Units (Vertical organization) & Corporate Business Partners (Horizontal organization), the Finance division aims to support the Group in its organic and inorganic growth to build the leading European independent preclinical CRO to deliver best-in class services to our clients.

The Accounting Specialist Italy W/M supports the accounting and tax accounting units of ERBC Italy, in accordance with the accounting policies foreseen by the Accounting Manager Italy.
The Accounting Specialist Italy W/M is responsible for developing and maintaining the day-to-day accounting policies and procedures of its legal entity, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager Italy who takes responsibility over the accounting of ERBC Italy.
He/she is expected to work collaboratively with the local accounting team and main stakeholders.

In This Position, You Will Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.Participate in the monthly & year-end close process with internal teams and external auditors.Ensure successful completion of the company's accounting procedures.Prepare payment documentation and execute as per internal processes.Daily record suppliers, tax, and wages for accounting operations. Education/Experience Master Level preferably from Business or Economic School, or comparable accounting class.Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in similar positions.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required.Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (Italian GAAP, IFRS GAAP is a plus).Knowledge of Sage X3 (accounting ERP) is a plus. Languages Italian, native speaker.English, operational is required. Soft Skills Negotiation skills.Excellent organization and problem-solving attitude.Assertiveness & proactive approach.Ability to work in a team.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
