Como Hotel has a touch of elegance standing in the quiet backwaters of the Georges River. With remarkable views and shady verandas, this hotel is a beautiful part of the heritage of our Shire. The hotel features a bistro, sports bar, TAB and Keno facilities, a lounge area, kids area and unique functions spaces.
About the Role:
The Duty Manager will take the lead in the day to day operations of the business, ensuring a seamless operation and allowing customers to enjoy an exceptional experience. They will play a key role in creating a sense of atmosphere, training new team members and ensuring the venue complies with regulations. The hours for this role promote a great work/life balance as the latest closes are at midnight. Looking for someone experienced in working in a fast-paced environment across a multi-faced venue. Attention to detail and a positive work ethic is a must. The ideal candidate will be a career focused manager who is interested in future opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring excellent customer service is delivered across all aspects of the business Ensuring the venue operates safely and within restrictions Focused on the development of the team, with the ability to lead, train and coordinate staff in a motivating, efficient and effective manner Able to manage payments, cash handling and reporting Confident handling guest feedback and any complaints in an efficient and proactive manner Skills & Experience:
