All about the role: We are looking at a permanent job position. The role, global, very strategical with high visibility within the organisation will allow you to learn our product portfolios through the use of Wire Harnesses and Cable Cords. With our Global R&D you will all technical criticalities of the components, and through the supplier's production the commercial aspect driven by processes. The main task will be to support driving this complex category in terms of complexity reduction, standardization, sustainability both economically and supply wise.
What you'll do: Develop our portfolio of suppliers, scouting and assessing new onesLeverage and promote complexity reduction projectsManage and optimise the component's mapping and visibilityParticipate in negotiation and use creative ways to drive valueLead internal and external analysis for supplier panel optimization and consolidationDevelop and apply cost model approach to maximise buying efficiencyShortage management and supply continuityWho you are: Master degree (Mechanical, Electronic, Electric, Industrial Engineering is a plus)Min 3 years of experience in direct material Purchasing, for technical components, with an international exposureKnowledge of Excel above average as MS OfficeKnowledge in supplier processes and cost driver analysisResults oriented and demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environmentRequired languages: Fluent English written and spokenWhere you'll be: This position is based in Susegana, location of our Global Purchasing team.
