Currently, we're looking for a driven Quality Consultant to join our team in our DC in Monterotondo(RM) .Your next Role:The Quality Consultant provides support to our client's restaurant management, and feedback to Supply Chain and Quality Assurance, in order to deliver the best possible quality food to the customer.It is the responsibility of the Quality Consultant to evaluate raw materials as delivered to the restaurants, to assess the operational procedures including equipment functioning, and to evaluate finished products. You will identify issues, advise, train, and correct procedures when necessary.Your main accountabilities will be:Ensure all restaurants in the area are visited at least once per year based on an independent work planCarry out visits in the manner agreed uponEvaluate raw materials in the restaurants by means of the European ATCQ Assessment Form (in accordance with the European laboratory evaluation sheets)Evaluate finished product quality as sold to final customersAssess storage, handling and operational proceduresGive advice and share best practicesIdentify areas for improvement, and give input for action plans evolving from thoseTrouble-shooting in case of quality problems that can be solved immediatelyTake immediate action if severe food safety or quality issues are noticed in a restaurantResponsible for closing meeting after each visit together with restaurant managementSummarize and report resultsOngoing personal training on product and operational proceduresWhat you'll need:In order to be successful, you'll have:Technical background in food sciences or restaurant operationsPreferable experience in quality control and/or auditingProfound product knowledge, experience in product evaluations and sensory analysis - attend training in European QA CenterKnowledge on processing at supplier level – visit bun, beef, chicken and fry production sitesGood English language skills (spoken and written)Good knowledge of the Office Suite (Excel, Word)Good communication skills, open personalityWe look forward to your application and to have you onboard as our next Quality ConsultantHAVI Italia is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
