Position Summary: Supports manager by taking supervisory responsibility for day-to-day coordination of team activities. Ensuring that processes and procedures are completed promptly and consistently and that team activities are in line with company goals and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities: Ensure team motivation. Ensure employees are treated consistently and fairly. Ensure that safe, secure and operationally compliant working practices are adhered to during the shift.The ideal candidate will have: Experience in managing a shift and team in a busy freight processing environment is desirable. Ability to manage own and teams time effectively with attention to detail.
