CNC Machinist Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in RIDC Park, Nidec Vamco Corporation is a fast growing manufacturer, and a global leader in design of high speed servo equipment for the metal stamping industry.
Position Summary: The CNC Machinist sets up and operates conventional, and CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic parts.
Essential Functions: Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements Set-up, operate, edit and program CNC machines and machining centers Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and/or vocational-technical school Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship Benefits: Competitive Pay 401(k) Program with company match Health Insurance Affordable Dental and Vision Insurance Company Paid Disability & Life Insurance Paid Vacation Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V
