Would you enjoy providing support for our CFO's decision making, uncovering insights into our different product lines, and building the tools to do this at scale? We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst with strong critical thinking and a passion for finding better ways to do things to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team. As part of the FP&A team, this role requires the ability to analyze, prepare, and present financial information and other essential reports to business leaders and the executive team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, takes initiative, works well under pressure, and excels at handling ambiguity. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team to drive annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the business. A well-qualified candidate will be a strong leader, team player, and have an analytical mindset to assist in solving complex business problems.
How you'll add value: Be an authoritative resource on operational KPIs and performance metrics of the companyUnderstand and expound on financial results, and be able to articulate the performance behind the numbersIdentify anomalies, trends, or deviations in the company's finances and introduce strategies for improvementDevelop efficiencies and process improvements within the team's work streamsPartner with various stakeholders including Accounting, Systems, and department leaders to support business needs and make financial recommendationsEnsure the timely delivery of accurate financial reports and other regular essential reporting documents including month-end and quarter-end variance analysesAssist in the creation of Board of Director materials including presentations and key strategic analysesManage the company's annual planning process and be a key player in ongoing budgeting requirementsSuccessfully manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced environmentPerform ad hoc analyses to quickly solve time sensitive business cases and operational challenges Provide analytical and decision-making support for key company initiatives[JL1]Own corporate finance reporting definitions and ensure uses of those definitions are deployed consistently across the finance organization.System administrator for planning software to assist in the implementation and propose ongoing changesOther duties as assigned.What you'll need to be successful in this role: 5-8 years of finance, accounting, business analysis or related experienceBachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience preferredAdaptive Planning and/or Planful Software implementation experience recommended but not requiredAbility to interpret financial statements and convey key recommendations to the businessAttention to detail and capable of self-review and providing polished deliverablesAdvanced knowledge of Excel including pivot tables, formulas, and visualsExperience developing excel models for annual planning, budgeting, and forecastingKnowledge and experience in the SaaS / Software industry preferred, but not requiredProficiency with Salesforce and Intacct preferred but not requiredAbility to solve complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experienceAbility to create, maintain, and improve processes in effort to increase overall team efficiencyExemplary analytical problem-solving skills, and knowledge of business analytics tools.Ability to work with company executives to understand the company's business needs and strategyExcellent written/verbal communication skillsR365 Team Member Benefits & CompensationThis position has a salary range of $95K-$115K. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
