DATTCO Offers: Family-oriented culture and team environmentCompetitive compensationRoom for advancement – we promote from withinMedical and dental insuranceLife insurance401k plan with company matchPaid holidaysPaid time offPrimary responsibilities: Reports to Vehicle Electronics SupervisorInstall/troubleshoot 12 volt and 24-volt electronics (cameras, GPS tracking, telematics, 2-way radios) on DATTCO and/or customer vehiclesAccurately record and report information regarding installs/repairsOwns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functionsPosition may require flexible shifts (weekends, overtime, and/or overnight)Responsible for ordering and controlling inventory levelsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust hold a valid driver's licensePrevious 12v/24v installation and service experienceModerate to advanced knowledge of vehicle electronics concepts such as GPS, relays and video systemsSchool bus/coach bus experience preferredAvailability to work weekends/overnights/overtime as requiredAble to travel to DATTCO locations in Rhode Island as well as to our headquarters in New Britain, CTTechnician will be required to supply their own tools for this positionMust possess the physical strength and conditioning to safely perform all required tasksMust possess excellent computer skillsMust be able to work in a team environmentMust be a self-starterBe able to pass a background check and drug testDATTCO is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
