Linklaters is looking for a Trainee to join its Milan based team in the Public Law department . Linklaters is a Global Law Firm that primarily works in the main sectors of business law. Linklaters' pan-European expertise is long-standing in all fields of regulatory, administrative and environmental law aspects, including State aid , public procurement as well as urban planning . Particular fields of expertise include energy (renewables and emissions trading issues), defence, infrastructure , utilities , telecommunications and real estate . Our specialists are involved in major innovative and complex transactions, advising corporates, commercial banks, public funded entities, local authorities and national governments.
The applicant must have the desire to work within an international environment of excellence, where they will have the opportunity to collaborate in the most interesting deals. As part of a global and large practice, teamwork is essential, and you will often work alongside with colleagues in our overseas offices.
The ideal candidate should be passionate, eager to learn, enterprising, flexible, available, precise, and capable of working in a team.
Key requirements A Law Degree from an Italian university with excellent academic credentials;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Proficiency level in English (C1 level required);
Knowledge of MS Office;
Experience, preferable in urban planning and construction law matters within a top tier firm, is a plus.
